Description
This is an introductory English course. Some grammar points will be taught but the main focus will be conversational English. The simple present, the be verb, possessive S, There is / There are, Some / Any are all of the points that will be taught and modeled to the learner. There is not a an emphasis on grammar as this course is intended to develop the learner's speaking ability. The running time of these lessons varies. The shortest video in this course has a running time of 9:08. While the the video with the longest running time stands at 16:28. This course is very engaging and is geared towards the auditory learner as well as the auto kinesthetic learner. In other words, this course is geared towards the learner who is interested in learning by doing. Interspersed within each video is an opportunity for the learner to put into practice what they have just been taught. Since this course is designed to develop the individual's speaking ability the instructor has modified the pace of his speech as well as his tone, thus ensuring that a lack of understanding will not be a barrier to the acquisition of the the learning point.
