A symptom based approach - webinar recording with Dr Moshe Perl

What you'll learn
A structure to help practitioners arrive at the most appropriate neurofeedback protocols for a wide variety of issues and presentations seen in clients
Cluster client's presenting issues within one or more areas of concern, each with its own set of neurofeedback protocols
Prioritize which areas need to be addressed initially, which can wait, and which protocols might be most helpful
Issues that will affect the way we train, regardless of other symptoms will be discussed
A framework for dealing with sensative clients
Requirements
An understanding of amplitude neurofeedback/frequency band training.
An understanding of the international 10-20 system.
Access to amplitude neurofeedback equipment that allows you to adjust protocols.
Ideally students will have already completed a basic hands-on course in neurofeedback and/or a BCIA certified course in neurofeedback.
Description
This course is for neurofeedback professionals only. For many of our clients, arousal is only one of several issues they have. How do we select protocols for the wide variety of symptoms and comorbidities we see in our clients? This prerecorded webinar presents a practical model that incorporates arousal and extends it into symptom categories that correlate with EEG patterns and provides a framework for protocol selection and protocol adjustment. One hour of BCIA recertification credit can be obtained by completing this course.Course CurriculumThis webinar course will give new and experienced practitioners a structure to help them arrive at the most appropriate neurofeedback protocols for the wide variety of issues and presentations we see in our clients. We do this by first looking at our client's presenting issues and seeing how they cluster within one or more areas of concern, each with its own set of neurofeedback protocols. We then prioritize which areas need to be addressed initially, which can wait, and which protocols might be most helpful.Issues that will affect the way we train, regardless of other symptoms will be discussed. There are certain symptom clusters that will always override other concerns.Students will learn how to integrate these concerns into a coherent neurofeedback strategy.
